Multiple employee events support year-long fundraising campaign, more fundraisers to come

Auburn Hills, Mich. (March 14, 2009) –

Plex Systems, Inc., providers of Plex Online software for manufacturers, today announced its efforts to support Gleaners Community Food Bank in its 2008-2009 employee community service campaign have so far raised $12,000.
Gleaners Community Food Bank, in collaboration with its member agencies, other area food banks and Feeding America organizations, and with broad community backing and support, provides surplus donated and low-cost food and personal care products to people in need in southeastern Michigan.

“In these times of increasing need for our services, we are delighted to receive the support of Plex employees and their fundraising and community service efforts this year,” said W. DeWayne Wells, Gleaners’ president. “The weak economy is increasing the numbers of people who must seek assistance from agencies like Gleaners so Plex’s support is truly appreciated.”

Plex employees participate in such activities as the Gleaners Food Fight, Detroit Duck Derby, Oakland Press Food Drive, Double Donation Days, Women’s Power Breakfast and other events to raise money.
“As a company of 130 people, we are proud to contribute to the community,” said Mark Symonds, CEO for Plex Systems. “We see a growing need for this type of assistance, so we are very pleased to do all we can and will continue to support Gleaners with our participation in fundraisers throughout the year.”

To raise funds for Gleaners, Plex sponsors raffles, charity auctions, employee events and a golf outing for customers and employees as part of its PowerPlex conference (www.plex.com/powerplex).
