Compiere, Inc., the global leader in open source business solutions, today announced that software industry veteran, John Cingari, has joined the company as chief marketing officer. Cingari will leverage his more than 20 years of experience building high growth enterprise application software companies to drive Compiere’s continued global expansion initiatives. As CMO, his immediate focus on significantly increasing the company’s global marketing activities includes increasing Compiere’s brand awareness, expanding the company’s partner and sales channel initiatives and enhancing community relations.

Prior to Compiere, Cingari served as vice president of marketing at OutlookSoft Corporation where he was responsible for marketing strategy and execution. During his tenure, OutlookSoft grew tenfold in three years, becoming a leader in the high growth business intelligence market. Before OutlookSoft, Cingari was vice president of applications marketing at Oracle where he directed the market entry of new ERP vertical solutions for process industries. Cingari has held marketing and sales positions at Datalogix, Marcam and Procter & Gamble. He holds a bachelor’s in chemistry from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Dallas.
