NetSuite Named Best Cloud ERP by UK
At the 2010 Cloud Computing World Series Awards in London, NetSuite managed to beat out hundreds of ERP vendors to win the much sought after award of the Best Cloud Application. The Cloud Computing World Series was judged by a panel of cloud ERP experts which included several journalists and analysts from the IT community. The Best Cloud Application Award is designed to show off the full capabilities of cloud ERP software.
In order to win the Best Cloud Application Award, the cloud-based software needed to show how deeply the application’s architecture was able to leverage the cloud. This included eliminating the need to install and operate the application on the customer’s own computers, and alleviating as much of the stress that software maintenance and development places on customers.
Steve Sydes, Managing Director for UK and EMEA, discussed how proud he was with NetSuite’s cloud ERP software solution. He said, “Given the breadth of experience of the judging panel, and the caliber of the other nominees, we’re extremely proud to have won this award. It demonstrated just how well the NetSuite application has grown and evolved over the years to meet the needs of our customers.”
Once again, NetSuite has proven how strongly their software is able to leverage cloud technologies for the betterment of customers.
