ERP Software Provider Cincom Releases Cincom Control 2010
Last Tuesday, Cincom Systems, an ERP software provider, released Cincom Control 2010, the newest model of its ERP system. This represents the most significant change in the company’s ERP product line in two years.
Control 2010 ERP applications include cost control, inventory management, capital optimization, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
CIncom claims its application’s innovative design separates it from traditional ERP solutions. It provides customizable, real-time information about operations relevant to each user. The new update features role-based architecture, which presents data based on the user’s defined needs, and doesn’t flood each log-in with excessive system information or applications. Cincom upholds this role-based architecture as the next necessary evolution in ERP software.
Other new features are:
- Vital business statistics are displayed on a single page and updated every ten minutes.
- Control 2010 is designed to resemble Microsoft SharePoint interface to help new users become accustomed to the software.
- Workflow diagrams are made simple with templates and drag-and-drop editing.
