Epicor and Kodak Combine Forces
Epicor Software, the ERP software solutions vendor, announced they would be aligning with Kodak Company to deliver fully integrated print, business and digitized workflow solutions. The alliance would deliver Epicor’s ERP solution with Kodak’s suite of print industry solutions. Together, Kodak and Epicor can meet the needs of printing, publishing and commercial printing and packing organizations who need a scalable ERP software solution.
Epicor wants to expand its focus on creating ERP solutions for the print, publishing and packaging industry. The partnership will give Epicor the opportunity to deliver integrated print production, digital workflow and ERP solutions that leverage printing industry best practices in all stages of the print and distribution process.
Under the alliance, Epicor will deliver Kodak’s EMS Business Software embedded with Epicor 9 ERP solution. The Epicor 9 and Kodak EMS combo will be branded Epicor for Printing and Packaging. The software solutions will help companies with business workflow and managing all aspects of printing, publishing, media and graphic communications. Under the agreement, Kodak plans to port its EMS software for printers to the Epicor 9 platform as well.
