AEB (International) Ltd to showcase Supply Chain Solutions at IMHX 2010
AEB (International) announced that it will show off its newest supply chain software called ASSIST4 at this years International Materials Handling Exhibition(IMHX) show. The ASSIST4 is AEB’s solution for all logistical processes in global trade. The supply chain software can manage the entire warehouse process from start to finish. ASSIST4 helps users by standardizing the supply chain and helping the logistical processes become more reliable and efficient. This in turn helps companies cut costs while remaining competitive.
One company is already benefiting from ASSIST4 warehouse management is German technology manufacturer ERBE Elektromedizin GmbH. The company develops, produces and distributes medical technology for hospitals and has a global presence. In fact, 80% of revenue coming from exports. The implementation of ASSIST4 in 2007 has helped the warehouse run more efficiently and be focused on customer-centered processing.
The increase in efficiency after implementing the supply chain solution has also lead to an increase in the quality of their logistics and a decrease in defects and returns. The improvements that the supply chain software has helped ERBE make is also being passed on to their consumers in the form of more reliable deliveries.
ASSIST4’s warehouse management module was tested and ultimately validated by the warehouse logistics team at the well know Fraunhofer Institute, Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization.
IMHX takes place in NEC Birmingham from November 16th-19th this year. The event is the UK’s premier event where thousands of products are showcased in all sectors of logistics, material handling and storage industries.
