“We are at a critical moment for our industry, at time for innovation and evolution,” said President of SunGard Public Sector, Tom Huber. “We have applied nearly thirty years of experience in the local government and not-for-profit technology space toward our latest suite, ONESolution. Built from the ground up in Microsoft.NET and leveraging the latest service-oriented architecture and windows presentation framework for enhanced usability, efficiency and integration, ONESolution is designed to help our customers do more with less.”
SunGard Public Sector throws an annual event for users of SunGard software, where the company provides training, information sessions and previews for upcoming products. SunGard announced ONESolution’s availability was at the event and even demoed the ERP solution on an iPad.
The ERP Solution was built on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) that puts emphasis on shared processes and flexibility for quick customer response time. SOA gives customers greater interoperability and integration. SunGard ONESolution ERP also provides its users with a role-based user interface and secure single sign-on.
ONESolution also has a national citizen services ePortal which gives users the ability to navigate through and operate across online government information and payment services in a single instance. For more information on SunGard’s ERP suite, visit: www.sungardps.com.
